Variable Fees - 2009 entry
Most universities and colleges of higher education, including us, will charge UK and EU students £3,225 per year for most of their degree courses.
This is not payable up front, but only when you have finished your studies and have a job paying more than £15,000 per year. If you are from the UK or EU, the Government pays the university on your behalf, in the form of a fees loan, and you pay this back later through the tax system.
You must contact your Local Education Authority (LEA)| to apply for your loans, grants and University bursaries. Do not wait until you have confirmed a place on your course, apply as soon as possible. You can tell the LEA of any changes once they happen. It is best to apply by the 30th June 2009 in order to get your funding for the start of your course.
For further information go to our Funding for 2009| page.
To find out if you're eligible for up to £1,325 to help fund your University education, visit our bursaries |and scholarships| pages.
