The University provides a wide range of up-to-date facilities for use not only by our students but also our staff and external customers.

Mountbatten Library| - more than just books! There are extensive collections of books, journals, videos, DVDs and other multimedia material searchable from the Library catalogue, plus a whole lot more. Quality student accommodation| in our purpose-built halls of residence. Over the summer, when our students go home, we use the halls for conferences and language schools. As part of our widening participation scheme we offer pupils from partner schools and colleges a chance to stay in halls to gain an all-round experience of university student life. Sports facilities| both on land and on the water! Our East Park Terrace campus is home to our sports hall and fitness suite. Football, rugby and cricket pitches plus netball courts, along with fully licenced clubhouse and changing facilities, are available at our Hardmoor sports ground.

The Watersports Centre at Warsash| range of crafts including seven powerboats, nine dinghies and three keelboats, and offers a wide range of training courses designed to provide the opportunity for novices through to experienced water users to improve their sailing/powerboating skills. Our media facilities |include three fully equipped television studios, one in the new television centre of excellence; 30 Final Cut Pro editing stations; fully equipped multitrack sound studios, radio studios, 16mm film production facilities; digital, 35mm and medium format photography facilities.

For Industry hire we have a towing tank, electronic design workshop, composite workshop, yacht design office with CAD suite, metrology lab, scanning electron microscope, fabrication and assembly facilities and hydrographic survey systems and equipment.
