Degrees of opportunity

The University offers Foundation Level 0 programmes specially designed for students whose qualifications are not quite appropriate for direct entry onto the 3-year (or in a few cases, 4-year) degree course of their choice.  

Business Foundation Level 0| - for students wishing to enter the areas of business, marketing and finance.  

Art, Design and Media Foundation Level 0  |- for those students interested in the areas of design, fashion, photography or multimedia.  

Technology Foundation Level 0| - for students looking to further their careers in architecture, construction, computing, electronics, engineering, maritime, technology and shipping.  

Sport and Tourism Foundation Level 0| - for students who would like to study in the areas of football, health and fitness, outdoor leisure and tourism. 

We also offer a Language Foundation Level 0  |- for overseas students, this provides intensive training in English prior to starting a course at the University.  

Starting in 2009

Popular Music Foundation Level 0| - focuses on developing study skills relevant to the broad field of popular music studies.
