Careers & Jobshop offers a life time commitment to Southampton Solent University graduates, we are open all year but check opening times before you visit, don't forget our website never closes!
If you are moving away from Southampton you may be able to receive careers support from your local university under a mutual aid scheme, call them before you arrive to find out what they can do for you. Careers & Jobshop have gained national accreditation under the Matrix Quality Standard for meeting recognised standards for information, advice and guidance.

Graduate Jobs South
Are you a graduate looking to start your career or change it? Are you interested in working in the region? Graduate Jobs South is a graduate retention project which matches students and graduates with opportunities via an email alert service. Employers are encouraged to register on the site to raise their company profile and to advertise any opportunities they have quickly and easily. Southampton Solent University is a key partner in the project which also works with the University of Southampton and the University of Winchester as well as businesses and stake holders such as Business Southampton. Does your company have employment vacancies for students and graduates to fill? Southampton Solent University has a ready workforce of over 16,000 students. The Careers & Jobshop can advertise placements, part-time vacancies and graduate positions to students free of charge. We can also assist by targeting students from specific courses.
We welcome alumni to come back to Southampton Solent University to talk to current students about their company and the world of work. Companies are also able to have a stand in our main concourse to promote themselves as employers.

Careers & Jobshop provide an employer to student mentoring programme for current students of Southampton Solent University. The Mentoring Plus scheme matches students with employers to increase their awareness of the graduate labour market.
