To make life easier, accommodation fees can be spread across the whole year and paid in either three equal instalments – normally October, January and April – or seven equal monthly instalments. Payment is made by direct debit.
All at once
If you prefer to get it out of the way, you can pay all your fees in one go before you get here or when you move in. To pay before you arrive, you can use a credit/debit card. To pay on arrival you can use a credit/debit card or you can pay in cash.
If you pay all your accommodation fees in one go you’ll receive a Quik Pay card entitling you to £110 worth of free food from any of restaurants or cafés on campus.
Please note: all students from outside the EU must pay their accommodation fees in FULL before they move into their room.
The final details of your fees and options for payment will be sent to you with your accommodation confirmation.
As part of the University’s access arrangements, these Residence fees include a discount for all students staying in our Student Residences in central Southampton, and whose tuition fees will be directly paid to Southampton Solent University.
