Ros Cassy joined the Board in July 2006. She chairs the Student Liaison Committee and sits on the Nominations Committee.

 

Ros lives and works in Southampton and has a background in advertising, public relations and finance. She runs her own consultancy, specialising in business and professional development for public and private organisations and in mentoring and coaching for senior managers. 

 

Ros was until June 2008 the independent Chair of Southampton Partnership, the city's Local Strategic Partnership, which aims to achieve economic, social and environmental well-being across the city and region. She is also Chair of the Advisory Group for the Southampton Common Purpose programme. 

 

Formerly, Ros held the post of Chief Executive, The Hampton Trust, Hampshire and was a Non Executive Director of Southampton Community Health Services NHS Trust. She was also Director of the Rose Road Association, Southampton for six years.
