Professor Peter BushPeter Bush joined the Board in November 2008 and sits on the Resources Committee.

Peter has been Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic) at The University of Northampton since 2005, where he has oversight of learning and teaching, quality, standards and educational partnerships. Peter is a University College London geography graduate and commenced his academic career at Staffordshire University before moving to Scotland at Glasgow Caledonian University and then to the Open University where he was Regional Director in the South West of England, Acting Regional Director in Wales and then Head of Regional Collaboration.

Peter has been an academic auditor for the Quality Assurance Agency for a number of years. He has been a member of a number of national committees in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland (as a founder member of the Northern Ireland Higher Education Council) and represents Northampton on a number of regional bodies.

Married with two grown up children, Peter is a soccer and cricket enthusiast and enjoys music and reading.
