Kevin KingKevin King was elected to the Board of Governors in November 2007 and sits on the Resources Committee. 

Kevin's background is in advertising. He began his career in planning in 1969 when he joined Masius/DMB&B, one of the world's largest advertising agencies, then spent some time in research before moving into domestic and international account management. He joined the board of the agency in 1981.  

Kevin moved to Lowe's in 1984 to become Management Director for their General Motors business. In 1985, he was invited to be part of the start up of the Eurocom agency in London, where he was MD of the London agency with direct responsibility for the management of the Peugeot cars business. In 1990, Kevin moved to Eurocom Paris as Vice-President Europe to head up the European Peugeot account, returning to the UK in 1991. 

In 1995 Kevin joined Young & Rubicam as head of their European Ford business. In that year the company had advertising responsibility for one Ford car brand, but by 1998 had been given the lead role on the launches of the Galaxy, Puma and Focus and was awarded most of the Ford advertising business across Europe. In 2000 Kevin moved to Ogilvy New York as a Global Client Services Director, returning to the UK in 2002.  

Since leaving Young & Rubicam in 2005, Kevin has been undertaking consultancy work on international advertising business for WPP, working on television programme formats, doing pro bono work with charities and biotechnology companies, travelling and playing golf. He is married with two children.
