Christine Millward

Staff Governor

Christine Millward joined the Board in August 2009 and sits on the ResourcesCommittee.

Christine is the Head of Student Operations at Southampton Solent University. She has over fifteen years’ experience of working closely with students and staff in higher education. Christine holds a first degree and a Master’s degree in Education Management. She has mentored students and taught Education Management to postgraduate students, and has presented at several professional national events (Association of University Administrators). Christine represents the University on administration matters at sector lever. In addition to being active within the University, she networks at a national level and has a very good understanding of the HE sector.

Christine has been a governor of three schools, and currently has responsibility for child protection matters in a voluntary body.
