Dr Andy Earwaker

Clerk to the Governors 

Andy was appointed Registrar of Southampton Business School (now the Faculty of Business, Sport and Enterprise) in 2007 and, in addition, Clerk to the Governors in 2008. 

He was previously the first statutory Complaints Manager for Social Services before becoming Strategic Business Manager for West Sussex County Council. Andy has followed a parallel academic career as an Associate and Visiting Lecturer for the Open University Business School and the University of Portsmouth. He was involved in the design and implementation of a Masters programme in Collaborative Working at the University of Chichester and visited Bulgaria as part of an EC funded project in this area. 

Andy has a PhD in Knowledge Creation and Transfer Processes in Organisations, an MBA (Distinction) and a first degree in sociology/criminology. He has served on a number of national working parties for the NHS and Local Government covering issues as diverse as patient care and information management systems. He has been a School Governor and is a Company Director. 

Interests include the cinema, history/family research and trying to keep up with his two daughters!
